Looking back on 2015

2016 is here! I’m excited for this year! But, 2015 was a great year.

The beginning of the year started off rough for me. I was in college and in a terrible living situation that resulted in my losing my best friend.

But, it’s funny how sometimes getting out situations, even if you aren’t aware how bad they are for you, really work out in the end. After that happened, my year has been great. I have accomplished so much in this year. It’s incredible!

The biggest thing that happened for me is that I graduated from college! In my college journey, there were plenty of times where I was sure I wouldn’t make it (Including the beginning of the year when I was thinking about dropping out my senior year!). However, I made it happen. I worked so hard the last few semesters that I was on the Dean’s list multiple times! I was president in clubs, ambassador of my school, and completed a writing internship. I’m really proud of myself for finishing.

Although it was long overdue, I got my license. Thanks to Brad who helped me learn to drive every weekend he visited me. The day I moved out of my apartment and left Bowling Green, I went to the BMV and took my test. We put all of my stuff on the curb so I could see what I was doing and I did it. I was so excited to finally be able to drive!

And after you get your license, you have to get a car. I couldn’t even wait much longer. I don’t think it was even 2 months before I got my 2015 Chevrolet Cruze. That car is literally my baby. I love it so much. After years of needing a ride to work, to hang out, to do literally anything, I can finally do it all myself!!!

Moving to Ohio City with Brad is another great thing that happened this year. I love living with him and just living on my own, in general. Brad is literally my best friend, so living with him has been better than ever.

Now, that 2015 is over, I’m looking forward to this year! So many things to be happy about! (:
