New Job!

So much craziness has kept me from blogging lately, but I’m back and better than ever! I have a month’s worth of things to talk about, so where do I start?

Well, since the title of this post is probably why you’re here, I’ll talk about my new job first. My last post explained how I would be starting a marketing role when my new job moved to a larger building. The time has come! I am officially the new (and first ever!) marketing specialist! (My desk is already looking fabulous)

I’m excited to start this new role because I love marketing and social media. The plus side is that I already know and love the company I work for now, so I can be passionate about my job and company!

This last month, our little baby goo (Luna) had a health scare which is one reason I haven’t been able to post. Our kitty was affected by something that affected her blood and made her very sick. She was in the hospital for several days keeping us worried sick. Thankfully, she’s home now, has taken multiple medications, and is back to her old self! Couldn’t ask for more!

This next piece of news is going to make you believe that I’ve had the worst month ever, but I also got into my first car accident. What a scary experience! Luckily, everything turned out well. The other driver was at fault and shared my insurance, so my car is back to its former glory!

Lastly, I want to end this post by sharing something I’ve learned over these past couple months. Something they don’t teach you in high school and college is how life really works. You may hear warnings about the real world, but nothing really does actually prepare you for it. There are going to be many time where you feel hopeless, depressed, and like throwing in the towel. But, the good thing about life is that it doesn’t really stay in one place for long. As long as you keep going, things keep changing and some changes may be exactly what you’re looking for. For me, these last few months have really challenged me, but things are starting to look up again. I’m definitely excited for the future!
